In this interview, I talked to 48y/o Tamara from Switzerland. She recently completed my 3 Steps to Lean Legs program and she was actually one of the winners of my Progress Pic Competition. I’m so proud of what she’s achieved!

Tamara’s Review of the 3 Steps to Lean Legs Program

1. What Was Your Fitness Routine Before You Started the Lean Legs Program? What Made You Change It?

Tamara: I went to the gym, did weight circuits there, and road cycling with my husband. The weight that I gained during the lockdown made me look for something that would keep me up doing it, your program is fun and I LOVE your videos!

2. How Did You Find Out About the Lean Legs Video Course and What Convinced You to Try It Out?

Tamara: As I said, the weight gain during lockdown made me look for something new.

The photos from your winners convinced me to try it out as you can tell these are real results, not photoshopped from participants all over the world.

3. Did You Know Your Body Type Before Doing My Body Type Quiz?

Tamara: I did not know which body type I am – I learned this from your questionnaire that I did before I signed up for your program. I have been exercising for 25 years, did all sorts of training but mainly circuit training with weights, sometimes very focused and then less again.

I also join my husband cycling on the road bike in summer. The lockdown made it difficult to keep up routines with gyms closed and I’ve put on weight.

My legs were always the big issue and they would always stay bigger, no matter how much I tried to make them slimmer. Your program is the first method that removed the stubborn fat around my knees and thighs within a short time

4. What Was Your Absolute Favourite Part of My Program and Why?

Tamara: Hard to say, I love it all but my favourite is the walking because it gives me so much more energy throughout the day – and the videos are fun to follow too, I love that you can do them easily at home with just a yoga mat and weights.

And the biggest win was that I started running again. I had back surgery 4 years ago and thought (and was told by the doctors) I would never be able to run again.

But I gave it a try because the program only asked for 20 minutes and it worked out well and gave me so much confidence – your program gave me running back which is a big thing for me, being able to do it again!

5. What Was the Most Challenging Part of the Program? What Motivated You to Keep Going?

Tamara: The running was the most challenging, as mentioned I had back surgery 4 years ago and was not sure if I could do it at all.

But then I did not have pain – I was just out of breath when I started. Your program has kept me going!

6. When Did You First Start Seeing Results? Were You Happy With Your Results When You Finished the Course?

Tamara: I started seeing results after 2 weeks, I made photos in between too and I also tracked my weight loss. I want to do another round because I would like to slim down a bit more. I am very happy with the results.

7. What Are Your Fitness Goals for the Future? How Do You Stay in Shape After Finishing the Course?

Tamara: I want to stay in shape and I will most definitely keep up the walking and the running and the videos are perfect for home exercise.

8. Would You Recommend the Lean Legs Video Course to Your Friends? And Do You Have Any Advice for Women Who Are About to Start Their Fitness Journey With My Course?

Tamara: I would definitely recommend your program to friends. It is easy to follow and is fun to do. This program is so worth doing – it shows results in very little time and it is fun to do.

I also highly recommend getting the videos, it makes it so easy to follow and to do all exercises right and leaves you in a good mood afterward.

    Hi just started day one of the lean legs video program – didn’t use weights cause I don’t have any and therefore didn’t sweat at all! Am I doing the exercises wrong, is it working? Or will I sweat only if I workout with weights? Thanks!

      Hi lovely,

      It’s normal to not sweat too much because the workouts are all low-impact. They were designed that way to avoid any unwanted bulkiness. Using ankle weight is completely optional and you’ll still be able to achieve great results without them. Just make sure that you follow all the workouts and the right nutrition plan. ;)
